If you live here, you know that there are plenty of dentists in Ft Lauderdale to choose from. Your relationship with your dentist should be trusting, comfortable and long lasting. Here are questions to ask and things to look for in a dentist:
- What are the dentist’s qualifications?
- Does the dentist listen to your concerns?
- Does the dentist clearly explain procedures and the options available?
- Is the staff courteous and helpful?
- Is the office comfortable, clean and welcoming?
- Is it easy to make an appointment?
- What procedures does the dentist offer?
- What insurance and payment options are available?
- Does the dentist offer emergency care?
We can’t answer for all dentists, but we can certainly explain why Dr. Stone is a great choice.
Why Choose Dr. John C. Stone, DDS?
Dr. Stone is a Prosthodontist. Prosthodontists are sometimes called cosmetic dentists. They study general dentistry and then go on to specialize in Prosthodontics, which is the maintenance and restoration of the function of the teeth, gums and facial structure. Prosthodontics is one of the nine specialties recognized by the American Dental Association.
Dr. Stone teaches Dental Implant technique to dentists at two colleges in South Florida. He is skilled, compassionate, soft-spoken and works with each of his patients to create a treatment plan that will give each patient the best possible outcome.
Dr. Stone has worked with the same staff members for many years, including the technicians in his on-site laboratory.
Our staff prides itself on being warm and welcoming. You can take a tour of the office right on our website. From preventive dental care to reconstructive dentistry, Dr. Stone provides an extensive range of services.
A Look at Some of Dr. Stone’s Services
Dr. Stone provides all the services a general dentist can provide, and more.
He uses the Kor Teeth Whitening and Deep Bleaching system for those patients who would like more than regular cleanings.
He loves to make regular dentures and also “Face Lifting Dentures” and All-on-4s to those patients who wear dentures. His specialty is Dental Implants and, because of his on-site laboratory, is able to provide patients with beautiful, high quality Dental Implants in less time and at a lower cost than an off-site lab would provide.
Dr. Stone also offers Botox, Restylane and Juvederm treatments. Making an appointment is easy, and he offers complimentary consultations and second opinions for a variety of services. Emergency appointments are seen the same day, during business hours.

We also offer CareCredit for those patients who would like to use a payment plan for their care.
Our many patient reviews speak to the outstanding experiences our patients have had with Dr. Stone and the staff. Our goal is to establish trusting, long-term relationships with our patients and keep lines of communication open throughout that relationship.
